James is a graduate of McNeese State University where he played 4 straight years of Divison 1 golf.  He has been a student of the game for more than 30 years, taking a keen interest in the science behind why the ball flies where it does.  He is one of only 8 clubfitters certified by the National P.G.A.  He is an authorized instructor of the Golfing Machine (G.E.S.B.) and holds a Trackman University Master Status.

Experience:

James has extensive PGA experience dating back to the late 1980’s. In 1989, he was the Junior Golf Blitz Coordinator for the Gulf States Section PGA. He served as Vice President of the Louisiana Chapter PGA from 1992-1993 and as President from 1994 – 1996. From 1992 – 1994, he was the Gulf States PGA Education Chairman and from 2000 – 2001, he served as the Gulf States PGA Awards Chairman. James has served as the featured speaker in numerous PGA and other golfing seminars, shows, summits and workshops. He has authored articles in Golf Tips Magazine, Golf Magazine and Golf.com
