In 2014 Jason Birnbaum was recognized by Golf Digest Magazine for the third consecutive time as one of the country's "Best Young Teachers," a compilation of the top 40 teachers under the age of 40 in America. Jason began his teaching career at Manhattan Woods Golf Club as an apprentice for Golf Magazine "Top 100" Teacher Mitchell Spearman. He gained valuable experience and learned first hand what it takes to teach at the highest level. With this pedigree behind him Jason has developed a deep and extensive understanding of how to help others improve their golf game.

As a golf professional, Birnbaum has spent the past several seasons working with all levels of golfers, including professionals on the PGA Tour, European PGA Tour, and Nationwide Tour. Some of his past and present students include European Ryder Cup star Oliver Wilson, New Jersey native and PGA Tour winner Jim McGovern, and current Tour pro Alexandre Rocha. Jason was the director of the Mitchell Spearman Junior Golf Program from 2003-2007, where he oversaw the opening and operation of new junior facilities throughout the northeast.  Beginning in 2008 Jason designed the Jason Birnbaum Junior Golf Camp located in River Vale, New Jersey, which attracts serious juniors from around the metropolitan area. Jason was recognized in 2009 by U.S. Kids Golf TOP 50 Kids Teachers in America. 

Jason's teaching experiences have taken him around the country teaching on an individual and group basis as well as on corporate golf trips.  Some of his corporate clients have included Mercedes Benz and Bank of America, among others. In the recent past he has taught in Canada and abroad in Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, and Australia, and has been featured in a variety of national and local golf publications that include Golf Digest Magazine, Met Golfer Magazine, Golfweek, New Jersey State Golf Association Magazine, and The Bergen Record.
